Virginia Tech's only independent social sorority!
About us
Alpha Chapter at Virginia Tech
Gamma Delta Sigma was founded in 2008 by graduate students Jeannie Fry (Conowingo, MD) and Meredith Vallee (Coventry, RI). Their goal was to create an organization that welcomed girls from all ages and backgrounds to be proud of who they were and to develop the bonds of sisterhood with fellow members. Our hope is to keep their legacy alive for generations to come.

GDS is an independent social sorority (Non-Panhellenic). We encourage growth and success by offering a variety of events throughout the year, which encourage bonding between members and help create a foundation of lasting friendships.
